Mt. Tambourine

Peir and I both had last week off.  We took advantage of this and headed off to Mt. Tambourine.  It was a relaxing few days in a bed and breakfast.  It was nestled in a small neighborhood on the north side of town and ran by a German couple and their exchange student.  Everything was peaceful except for some loud quacking ducks at sundown every night.  We went on trail walks, visited a winery, saw the glow worms, feasted for breakfast and got lots of rest.  On one of our short hikes we ran into a deadly spider, eek! (We were told it was a funnel web).  To finish off the week we picked up our good friends Kate and Kaleb from the airport and stayed at their apartment on the Sunshine Coast.  Too bad it rained all weekend, but I caught some rays in my new bathing suit today.
My next doc appointment is in two weeks, which will include my blood glucose screening.  Besides the weight of my belly I'm feeling well.  Looking forward to entering the 3rd trimester this week!
